ABOUT US/ HISTORY:
When Enver Doyuran formed The Doyuran Printworks in 1974 he believed that a good printing
business is built on solid relationships grown from trust, honesty, respect and integrity. Between the
years 1984- 2013, Turkey’s most important authors and poets books are printed in this building
which is now used as a hotel. In 2013, the hotel owner Enver Doyuran decided to convert the
printworks into a boutique hotel with a desire to perpetuate his love for his profession and for books.
Some important author’s names are given to the rooms of the hotel, so you can predict that he has
decided to choose ‘printery and books’ as a concept. With the support of the dearest relatives of the
authors, we have Aziz Nesin, Attila Ilhan, Orhan Kemal, Rıfat Ilgaz, Cemal Süreya, Orhan Veli Kanık
and Nazım Hikmet Ran named 7 special rooms. In each room, you can find information booklets
about each author.
The Print House Hotel takes attention with its location which is close to Sulhanahmet Square; the
hotel is in the heart of Istanbul's historical peninsula. Hotel is also in a walking distance to main
tourist attractions such as Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia Museum, Basilica Cistern, Topkapı Palace,
İstanbul Archeology Museums, The Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar. If you don’t want to walk it is
only a few stops away from the hotel with tram.
